. RACK AND STACK
The best way to freeze
food is in a single layer
on a parchment-lined
cookie sheet. Stacking the
sheets on a cooling rack
triples the freezing space.
(If food isn’t already in a
bag to freeze, transfer it
to one when frozen.)

P a n P la n Here’s how to prep
and freeze a casserole or lasagna
without tying up the pan indefinitely:
Spray pan with nonstick coating
then line with freezer paper that
extends
6
inches beyond sides of
pan. Assemble food and freeze.
Once frozen, lift food out of pan
and wrap in foil or plastic wrap.
When you’re ready to cook, remove
all wrappings, including freezer
paper, and return to pan. Thaw in
refrigerator, then bake.

satisfying again
puzzle-solving game.
